In the latest news in Iraq, resistance fighters have captured a US general in Ramadi. The Americans went ballistic with this news and closed all roads in and out of the city. Heavy fighting is currently underway.

It appears something major is breaking in the city. Details are just coming in and information is limited as of press time. More details are to come as they are available, inshaAllah.

Update On The Anbar Incident

Two Marines were killed in the Anbar province west of Baghdad, not one as the military previously reported. The first Marine died Monday of wounds received during fighting on Sunday in Anbar, a Sunni-dominated region west of Baghdad that includes Fallujah, Ramadi and Qaim and has been the centre of the occupations anti-Iraqi operations.
A second US Marine died yesterday of wounds suffered in the same incident, the military said, declining to give more details. (JUS)
