While much has been written about the identity and history of John E. O'Neill -- one of the authors of the forthcoming Regnery book Unfit for Command: Swift Boat Veterans Speak Out Against John Kerry (whose links in the GOP go back to his days as "protégé of Nixon-era dirty trickster Charles Colson"), little has been said about his co-author, Jerome R. Corsi, PhD.

• Corsi on Islam: "a worthless, dangerous Satanic religion"

8. Just e-mailed CNN about their mention of the Regnery book

There was a story on the "American Votes" portion of the website concerning George Elliott's recanting of his account of John Kerry's service. While the story was somewhat favorable to Kerry (i.e., the supposed commanding officer, Elliott, says that he's the one in trouble here, not Kerry), CNN did mention the upcoming "Unfit to Command" tome without noting that it's from Regnery Publishing, which is basically a mill for paranoid right-wing attacks on the Clintons and others. I actually can't look at a political book in the store now without checking to see who the publisher is.

However, Regnery is usually pretty obvious in its bias (cover pictures, titles, the whole nine yards), and I thought CNN should have at least mentioned who was publishing the book.

Usual clear thinking from Ann Coulter. Profiling Muslims might not solve the problem, but it's the place to start. If Islam is a Peaceful Religion, let's have Muslims prove it. So far the evidence we have demonstrates that many, many believers in this "religion" believe it is admirable to kill non-believers in the name of "Allah." How many violent, intolerant suicidal Muslims do we have to witness before we begin to take a closer look at all of them?
