Poll finds Boxer with wide lead over little- known challenger Jones

Democratic Sen. Barbara Boxer is maintaining a wide but somewhat diminished lead over her Republican opponent, Bill Jones, in a race that has garnered little attention in the state so far, a new poll found.

The nonpartisan Field Poll found Boxer with 50 percent support among likely voters, compared with 33 percent for Jones, a former secretary of state. Seventeen percent said they were undecided. ..

Anyone who gives money to this Jones cat is throwing cash down a well. He has as much chance of beating Boxer as I have of moving down from NYC to Mississippi and beating Trent Lott. Preposterous.
