Martha Stewart's Judge Opposes Court Cameras (..vain, weak)
ATLANTA (Reuters)


The judge in the Martha Stewart case on Saturday spoke out against the televising of criminal trials because people, including jurors, witnesses and lawyers, are "weak, vain creatures" who cannot ignore cameras.

U.S. District Judge Miriam Goldman Cedarbaum made her comments during a panel discussion over conflicts between the courts and media over the coverage of high-profile trials. The panel was held at the American Bar Association annual meeting in Atlanta. ..
