Boy crushed by suicide jumper

NISHINOMIYA, Japan, Aug. 8 (UPI) -- A 20-year-old student died Sunday in Japan when a man who leaped from the top of a high-rise building landed on top of him.

Mainichi news service reported from Nishinomiya, Japan, that both the student and the 30-year-old jumper died instantly.

3. Let's face it, all ways are selfish ways
Some poor schnook always has to find the body, and the most effective means always leave a hell of a mess.

5. I don't know about that...
A really effective way would be to leap into a renderer at a meat processing plant and become food for dogs, cats, horses, etc.

That would be effective and almost humanitarian as well.

11. Cleanest way to go.
I saw a nature show years ago in which a team approaching the edge of an active volcano in Japan found a charred forearm at the edge. They guessed that someone had used the volcano to commit suicide.

No fuss, no mess... all ya got to do is find your nearest active volcano.

2. Unbelieveable!
Speechless here! Sad, very, very sad. It seems that in Florida I am hearing a lot more crimes, bank robberies, suicides, and all that nasty stuff now days. Maybe I'm just paying more attention, but it all just seems so hopeless and sad to see so many people in so much pain.

8. Sounds like something might have been lost in the translation

I went to the Japanese Mainichi web site and looked for the original Japanese news story but could not find any story from the 8th about this alleged incident. I even searched the name of the alleged victim, with no results. I did find a story with the same dateline, Nishinomiya 8/8, about a man who died in a fall on the 8th, but he did not jump from a high rise building-- he was trying to jump from a check dam into a river, using a tree that had fallen across the dam as a diving board. However, the tree broke under his weight and he fell onto the rocks below.
