1st Daughters 'Party' On (doing what they do best)
A Who's Who of political first daughters will close out the Republican convention with a bang — hosting a late-night bash at one of the city's swankiest locales, The Post has learned.

Bush twins Jenna and Barbara, Emma Bloomberg and Emily Pataki will host a "Next Generation of Leaders" party at Gotham Hall, which will kick off minutes after President Bush finishes his acceptance speech at Madison Square Garden.

The gals' gala will put the finishing touches on four days and nights of parties featuring everybody who's anybody in Republican circles.

Southern rock legends Lynyrd Skynyrd will kick off the festivities Sunday night with a concert honoring Southern Sens. Saxby Chambliss (Ga.) and Lindsay Graham (S.C.).

22. Exactly, beaten down into submission.
Are they going to speak at the RNC? It should be interesting, if not down right laughable, to listen to them and do a compare/contrast to the highly intelligent daughters of Kerry.

Look for Bush-spawn's glassy-eyes and teetering movements at the podium.

3. Jesus God
I wonder if they'll be passing out mullet wigs for the Skynyrd show.

Not kidding, I got roped into going with a very good friend to something called Jubilee in Montgomery, AL earlier this year. One of the featured acts was Lynyrd Skynyrd. I figured why not, every once in a while, it's ok to indulge your inner redneck. As the very large crowd was gathering, she and I were noticing (and commenting) on the group. I've never seen so many mullets and/or backhair in my life - and there were a couple where we couldn't tell if the mullet/backhair combo was male or female. Alabama - this is why Georgia can make fun of you. Not much to brag about, but it's something.

"The Devil Went Down To Georgia" especially for the festivities!

However, since Charlie is now 224 years old, he has retitled it "The Devil Went Down to Dennys", and the opening goes like this:

"The devil went down to Dennys,
He was lookin' for an early meal"

I thought there was only one member of the original band still even playing in this unit.

Honestly, a LS tribute band would be just as legitimate at this point in the band's career.

Chambliss I can see...maybe. But Lindsey?

I live in Ga., and I know Saxby is a RWer, but he's really more interested in Saxby than anything else. Lindsey however, is pretty close to the RW extremist. Why can't I see him at this "youth bash"?

I sure hope some of the media gets some pics!

Representative Lindsey Graham was a House Manager screaming at the top of his lungs into the C-Span camera and mike, "HE LIIIYYYAAAHHHDDD, HE LIIIYYYAAAHHHDDD!" re Clinton's impeachment.

Since when is Lindsey NOT rightwing? Lindsey who used Clinton and the debacle Lindsey et al caused in the House to get into the Senate? THAT Lindsey?

As for Chambliss . . . anybody who can skewer a military vet who left two legs and one arm in Vietnam and paint him a coward as did Chambliss and Company to Max Cleland is another lowlife . . . what's the diff?

Lindsey is a candyass RW cook! I don't know what you thought I meant, but I just can't see him partying with the Bush girls!

What in the world did you think I meant?

Saxby is all for Saxby. If he thought partying with the Bush girls would benefit him, I'm sure that's just what he'd do.

50. well me too ZW
Have you ever lived down in the ghetto?
Have you ever felt the cold wind blow?
If you don't know what I mean,
Won't you stand up and scream?
'Cause there's things goin' on that you don't know.

Too many lives they've spent across the ocean.
Too much money been spent upon the moon.
Well, until they make it right
I hope they never sleep at night
They better make some changes
And do it soon.

They're goin ruin the air we breathe
Lord have mercy.
They're gonna ruin us all, by and by.
I'm telling you all beware
I don't think they really care
I think they just sit up there
And just get high.

Of course with about 200 square feet of the slavery flag plastered behing the band.

Yuck.
