Kerry Campaign Launches Multimedia Bilingual Action Tool Kit
US Newswire

Kerry- Edwards Campaign Co-Chair Henry Cisneros, New Mexico State Director Moses Mercado, Hispanic Outreach Director Luis Elizondo- Thomson, and media consultant Lorena Chambers will hold a conference call with reporters to unveil the latest step in the series of unprecedented efforts to reach out to the Hispanic community: the multimedia Unidos con Kerry- Edwards Action Tool Kit.

Through Unidos con Kerry-Edwards, the campaign is mobilizing Hispanics nationwide, creating a network that is fueled from the bottom up. Activated by the energy of our grassroots efforts, the campaign will continue reaching out to every Hispanic household in the nation.

Recent surveys show that John Kerry is repeatedly leading 30 to 35 points, with Bush well behind his 2000 mark among Hispanic voters. It is clear that the Hispanic community is responding to the optimist proposals of John Kerry and John Edwards to make America stronger at home and respected in the world. ..

3. When Bush was campaigning in 2000,
wasn't he touted as speaking fluent Spanish? And that was supposed to be an asset when addressing Spanish-speaking leaders, citizens and other people he meets?

You don't hear about that anymore. Was this hype?
