Nader Ballot Fraud (BREAKING NEWS) (Oregon)
Blue Oregon - Political State Report

.. The petition sheets to qualify Ralph Nader for the presidential ballot in Oregon contain so much fraud, forgery and duplicated signatures that it clearly demonstrates widespread corruption in the campaign, according to an investigation conducted by the Service Employees International Union (SEIU).

SEIU will release preliminary findings of its investigation at a news conference on Monday, August 16th at 10:30 AM. At that time, we will be calling on the Ralph Nader campaign to take immediate action to eliminate the fraud and to report all individuals who have violated state election laws while working on the campaign.

"We were absolutely astounded by what we have found so far," says SEIU International Vice-President Alice Dale. " The evidence of systemic fraud is clear and convincing and goes beyond anything we have seen before in Oregon. We call on the Ralph Nader for President campaign to immediately stop all fraudulent activities and turn over all evidence of fraud and forgery to the state Elections Division for investigation by the Attorney General."

1. Suck it Nader, once you get in bed with Bushco you need more than a
shower.

Serves him right, conspiring with anti-gay groups. I for one want to bitch slap him back to 2000, so I can take my vote back.

Good riddance!

6. Tick Tock
Eight more days til the ballot deadline.

There was a rather discouraged looking woman (definitely not a Republican) trying to get Nader sigs in downtown Portland on the day of the Kerry rally. I politely declined, but from the sound of her voice, it was easy to tell that she'd had more than an earful.

9. I used to look up to Ralph like a smitten schoolgirl.
I stopped that a few months before the 2000 elections.

He did so much good.....now he will be remembered as an egotistical waste of oxygen...so sad (I still have the pic I had of him when I was in college).

Pragmatism is my curse - egotism is Ralph's

The BFEE got into your moral purse - you are damaged goods.

RIP - if this story ever gets into the mainstream press, that is.

12. The repukes must have a lot of dirt on Ralph
that they are using to make him run. And it must be really bad dirt since he is going along with their plan and using their resources.

17. Wow - I hadn't thought of that angle
Here's what I posted earlier w/no response - I was sure it would raise some hackles amongst his supporters here:

I think his whole thing is to have the satisfaction that there are SOME people out there who would vote for him instead of Kerry OR Bush. Therefore, if he is not delusional in thinking he will win or that he won't throw the election to *, then he is one of the most self-centered and self-serving people in the WORLD.

Think about it. He's willing to do that to his fellow Americans and fellow citizens of the world. In my book, it's not an exaggeration to say that this makes him as SELFISH as any megalomaniac.

I'd rather be wrong about that - and I am, if what you said is true.

In any case, his deeds are just about as evil as those of the antichrist (Rove), IMHO.

32. I don't think dirt was the motivation, I think it was money
For four years now, I have thought ole Darth Nader was bought and paid for by the repukes. In my way of thinking Nader is the linch pin that put Chimpie in the White House. The repukes could have paid him 25 million dollars and it would have been a bargin. Haliburton, alone, has made billions off chimpie's misadventure in Iraq.
There may be now evidense to what I believe, but there sure as shit is logic.
Nader is bought and paid for.

13. It's time for him to do the honorable thing and drop out
He has no support. Here in the liberal city of Austin, where Nader got about 11% of the vote in 2000, I find no evidence of a groundswell of support for him. In the last 6 months I have seen no more than 1 bumper sticker (and that was from 2000) and his petititioners failed to get the signatures for the Texas ballot.

16. I believe this is Bushevik Fraud they have stumbled upon
Edited on Mon Aug-16-04 04:58 AM by tom_paine
"The evidence of systemic fraud is clear and convincing and goes beyond anything we have seen before in Oregon."

Yeah, I bet it does.

And when your people find the fraud is the same systemic fraud that is taking place all over the country now heartily endorsed by almost the entire Bush Party Structure, you'll be threatened or pulled off or whatever Uncle Karl does these days in place of a good-old-fashioned Ernst Roehm Night of the Long Knives.

And then these allegations will go silent.

I wish I didn't think this was 100% certain, but I have seen so much already that indicates it would be a snap.

Think you'll see this on the O'Reichley Show anytime soon??

You are correct, this isn't confirmed, but if the union did the investigation and is having a press conference, we'll see.

Plus, it has to actually be investigated by Oregon state.

The website, it ain't Ed Murrow but what is, these days?

18. Can't believe we're hearing about this. Are the (R)s dumping Nader...
as their hoped-for "spoiler"? I don't think we'd even hear about this if that weren't the case.

I'd been hearing more and more chatter about how Ralphie was actually starting to take more prospective votes away from Republicans than Democrats, since there are legions of Republicans that can't stand Bush but can't bring themselves to vote Dem, and Nader presented a better alternative for them than he did for us.

I also have to keep in mind that every underhanded thing the Rovians have pulled in their campaign has had "unintended consequences". Their evil is the source of their own undoing.

Anyway, good-bye Ralph. I can't believe I voted for you in 2000. I can't believe I ever thought you were a decent guy.

20. Ralph, you used to be a hero! Please, join us in our fight to defeat
Bu$h, the corporate cabin boy.

Ralph, what happened to you? Or are you being really slick?

Please, drop out of the race in October. Take and spend all that republican money, and then turn around and help us kick corporate republican ass.

We're counting on you, Mr. Nader.

Please, don't let your people down. Bu$h is a fascist, and you know it.

Restore our faith in you, Mr. Nader. Be a real American hero.

27. His hypocrisy is astounding.
I thought he was a piece of shit when he didn't drop out in 2000, and he has just gone on to confirm my suspicions. When I think that, but for this shithead, we wouldn't be neck deep in W's B.S., I want to beat Nader's skull in. So conscientious (what a crock!)...he is at least somewhat responsible for all the unnecessary deaths at the hands of BushCo.

He is doing far more harm than good. I wish he would just die.

One has to wonder if his plan is to totally disrupt the system so we will be a nation "reborn". That seems as plausible as other theories I have heard.

Said my friend's sig was on petitions, and wanted to know if he'd ever signed for Nader. He hadn't since 1999, and ended up giving a deposition on his front porch. Someone had copped his signature in support of Ralphie! He was really pissed!

33. Easy On Nader people!
My friends, I am 100% united in defeating Bush this year with you.
But your hatred of Nader is unbelievable.

As Democrats, we must defend anyone's right to run for President.
If you truly believe a vote for Nader is a vote for Bush, then the monsters (Republicans) that you hate so much, have gotten you.

A vote for Nader is not a vote for KERRY or BUSH, it'sa vote for Nader. It's as simple as that. I voted for Ralph in 2000 and I am not sorry I did. This year I will vote for KERRY.

Nader is not owned by Republicans, nor Democrats, nor anyone else.
If I wanted to run for President as an independent, why would any of you try to stop me?

Gore lost because of the Supreme Court not Nader, and all I hear on this site is what the Republicans keep saying, yeah it's Nader's fault. When did Democrats repeat Republican lies?

I, for one, would not be surprised if Democrats in Oregon injected fradulent signatures to stop Nader. I hope that's not the case, but in politics, in power, and in greed, anything is possible.

Go easy on Nader, let's give Bush the hell he deserves, peace....
