NY Senate candidate calls for Springsteen boycott

ALBANY, N.Y. -- Upset with Bruce Springsteen's effort to bounce President Bush from the White House, the New York Conservative Party's candidate for U.S. Senate is launching a "Boycott the Boss" television ad.

"He thinks making millions with a song-and-dance routine allows him to tell you how to vote," Marilyn O'Grady says in the 30-second spot. "Here's my vote: Boycott the Boss. If you don't buy his politics, don't buy his music."

"I stand with President Bush and it's time to tame the liberal elite," O'Grady adds.

it will just make them look even sillier when it doesn't work. I am reminded of what the early 60's boycott of the Beatles did to their career. Yep they were pretty much sunk after that "bigger than Jesus" comment.
