Fighting in Basra Kills British Soldier

LONDON - One British soldier was killed and another wounded during fighting with Iraqi militia forces in the southern Iraq (news - web sites) on Tuesday, the British army said.

2. British fatalities this month have exceeded their share of troops
So much for peaceful Basra. So far this month the U.K. has lost 4 soldiers to the U.S. 36, a ratio of 1 to 9. I believe the troop ratio is probably more like 1 to 10 or 1 to 11.

at imperial takeovers and occupation. The natives are getting a little restless?
