3. Let's hope for a negative "bounce" -
like the idiot's numbers falling off a cliff. I keep thinking that we are going to reach a tipping point soon, where the coming landslide is apparent. There are at least 7 Electoral Vote prediction websites and all show a big Kerry victory. Some of these are even Republican sites.

9. That is what I am hoping for...
then EVERYONE needs to talk it up when his bounce is much lower than normal for a sitting president.

4. I thought we were supposed to publicly expect a "huge bounce"!
Raising (hopeless) expectations for Bush and such, I thought.

5. The only thing I'm waiting to see re: this convention is if the whores
will let Dems critique Bush's speech and the convention as a whole like they had Repuks critiquing Kerry's speech and the DNC.

6. Mr. "C" student is the King of low expectations and profiting from them
If his campaign keeps spewing that they expect a low bounce, they can then be greatly surprised if Bush gets a lead on Kerry subsequent to the fiasco in NYC.

7. If Bush doesn't get a !5% bounce, will the pundits
tell us how bad the convention was--over and over and over?

andit has erased his bounce...

11. Bush should get a 25% bounce after the convention

  1. 5% - Reagan nostalgia compels undecided Americans to "win one for the Gipper."
  2. 5% - Giuliani fever.
  3. 5% - McCain fever.
  4. 10% - Thousands of Republican prayers answered. We know God likes the Republicans best.

Anything less than a 25% bounce will be an utter failure.

12. Now you're talking!
A minimum 25% bounce in the polls, or the convention was a miserable failure.

13. The media reported the Republicans spin only before both conventions
What the fuck?

They reported the Bush spin on the Democratic Convention and now on the Republican Convention.

Where is the other side of the story?

16. Didn't they say: Kerry will get a LARGE bounce?
They being repukes?

So if it was 5 points or so, it was 'lower than expected'?
