Group Threatens U.S.-Led Troops in Iraq Over Najaf
DUBAI (Reuters) - A hitherto unknown Islamist group has threatened to attack U.S.-led troops and American citizens in Iraq (news - web sites) if foreign forces do not leave the holy city of Najaf in 48 hours, according to an Internet statement posted on Monday.

"We in Al-Hussein Islamic Brigades give American and British coalition forces 48 hours to leave Najaf and holy areas in Iraq, and if this period ends and the invading forces do not heed us, we will attack every soldier in the coalition and American citizens everywhere in Iraq," said the statement, dated Monday.

"We will not be lenient with any driver working for the Americans either. It may take time for us to respond if our demand is not met but we will surprise the Americans with operations that will make them long for death," the statement said, adding that the group would also attack oil facilities.

2. What is going on
Think about it. The coalition (uninvited foreigners) are pushing for civil war in Iraq. They don't dare to attack the holy shrine in Najaf, because they fear the reaction of the Muslim world, so they're pushing locals to do it. That is so ugly! Moqtada al-Sadr is an Iraqi. He belongs there. The coalition doesn't, and should leave! They have done enough damage. They have destroyed Iraq.

5. That's why we have WMDs
We would not hesitate to use nukes if we were invaded. That's why we had to invade Iraq. An oil-rich country that we intend to invade should never be allowed to develop nukes with which to defend themselves. Catch-22. Iran should prepare for the inevitable if GW Bush and friends manage to steal the 2004 election, too.
