Data loss hits Russia crash probe
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/3602320.stm

President Vladimir Putin's envoy to the southern region said the Tupolev airliners' black boxes had "practically switched off immediately".

Vladimir Yakovlev said that was "probably more confirmation... that something happened very quickly".

but they still say:

There is speculation that poor quality fuel or human error might have been to blame.
...
The main version is violation of planes' maintenance. Judging by the fragments of the planes, it is possible to say that there were no terrorist acts on the planes."

1. This is as sketchy as that "train explosion" in N Korea
Simultaneous? Putin is just concerned about his enconomy. This has to be a cover up.

2. I'm curious why this story seems to be largely ignored.
Two planes explode within minutes of take-off, simultaneously. One plane engages the hijack signal... No other planes (who OBVIOUSLY got the same fuel - you don't only fuel two planes all day, do you?) exploded from the fuel. Black boxes "switched off", I thought they weren't supposed to do that.

This looks so much like terrorism, but it's being so downplayed. Perhaps because Putin wants to hide it, but perhaps because OUR government does NOT want this type of news right before the GOP convention, either.

Something stinks, and it's not the borscht.

5. Terrorism is for frightening the population
Vague threats are useful, the more absurd the better (watch out for people carrying almanacs, dressed in layers). The population is then expected to bond with Big Brother. But actual terrorism must be denied, if at all possible. That would show Big Brother can't really help that much, and is probably doing much to contribute to the problem (through foreign policy, if nothing else).
