Iraqi Police Fire on U.S. Troops in North

KIRKUK, Iraq - Iraqi police on Saturday mistakenly opened fire on U.S. troops, who returned fire, wounding two policemen, an Iraqi National Guard commander said.

Maj. Gen. Anwar Mohammed Amin said six police involved in the incident in the northern city of Kirkuk were being questioned. He gave no further details.
