Anti-Kerry 'Swift Boat' Group Vows To Keep Up Ad Campaign
WASHINGTON, Aug 29 (AFP)

The controversial group of veterans, whose television advertisements attacking Democratic White House hopeful John Kerry sparked a national debate, vowed Sunday to keep up their campaign until the November 2 election.

Retired admiral Roy Hoffman, who founded the so- called "Swift Boat Veterans for Truth," told Time magazine that since their first, relatively small ad ran in three states earlier this month, the group had raised 2.5 million dollars from 37,183 donors.

"We knew that we were going to stir the pot, but I had no idea we`d be this successful," Hoffman said. ..

8. It's 60 days. They're claiming that the anti-Kerry ads
aren't intended to influence the election, and so 527 laws don't apply to them.

11. They have said that they don't want Kerry to be president
Their book is called "Unfit for command" - that proves that they are trying to influence the election.

Because as long as Bush himself refuses to condemn you, Kerry is free to hit him with everything but the kitchen sink!

10. Will the media give them unlimited airtime right up until November?
At what point will the right wing media stop having these guys on every show every day?

Maybe it's time for a little balance along with their fairness?
