A man who admits he took part in a coup attempt in oil-rich Equatorial Guinea claims high-up members of the Bush administration were aware of the plot.

Nick du Toit, a South African arms dealer, one of nineteen men allegedly involved in a coup to topple the African nation's president, Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo has made the claim to prosecutors.
