Cipel won't file suit against McGreevey
NEW YORK - (CNN) Attorneys for Golan Cipel announced Monday, the former aide to NJ Gov. James McGreevey will not file a sexual harrassment lawsuit against the governor.

“By resigning, Mcgreevey has admitted his wrongdoings.” said Rachel Yosevitz (sp?) Monday at a Manhattan press conference. “This was never about money.”

Lawyers say Cipel remains in Israel, is emotionally devastated, but he's getting stronger.

Attorneys for Cipel outlined allegations of unwanted sexual advances and harrassment against Cipel.

4. yeah, having another gay lover come out of the woodwork
when you're trying to crawl back into the closet to get rich off another man's misery is emotionally devastating, all right.

Now if the little punk's Israeli intelligence connections only get outed...

3. He's not filing a lawsuit,
because he doesn't have a case! If there was evidence that a Democratic governor from New Jersey raped an employee, the "liberal" media would be screaming from the mountaintop about it!

14. I can't see McGreevey raping anybody. He's not exactly butch.
C'mon. Who's going to believe that a non-athletic, small man like McGreevey can rape a young man in his prime, who is 15 years his junior. Puleeze.

11. The poor dear was so devastated he had to find comfort in the arms
of quite a few men in the steamroom at his gym, according to Datalounge. So many, in fact, that he was kicked out.

13. This whole thing does make you wonder about Lewinsky
Maybe someone did put her up to it. It is an old, old way to compromise a politician. In Canada we had our own little scandal in the 1960's, the Gerda Munsinger affair (an East German lovely).

16. Was Cipel a spy
and is he staying out of the U.S. because he doesn't want to be tied to the FBI investiagaion of leaks to Israel?

19. He WON'T? Maybe it's really because he CAN'T
Edited on Mon Aug-30-04 06:10 PM by rocknation
As in, he knows he has no case. As in, he never HAD a case, which gives McGreevey a case against HIM for extortion. As in, maybe it really is true that he's an undercover Mossad agent. If money wasn't the goal, why did he keep asking McGreevey for it? And if McGreevey's resignation is an admission of guilt, what does Cipel's denying he was gay and going on the lam mean?

Now that McGreevey is no longer under the accusation of sexual harassment, I don't want to hear any more about his leaving office before November 15. He's just another homewrecker now, and he can atone for his other crimes later. STAY THE COURSE, McGREEVEY! And goobye, Cipel.
