Kerry, Schwarzenegger, Pataki Will Be Featured in Pro-Life Ad Tomorrow
U.S. Newswire

On Tuesday, Aug. 31, American Life League's Crusade for the Defense of Our Catholic Church will release the latest in a multi-ad campaign identifying pro-abortion "Catholic" public figures. The newest "Deadly Dozen" ad points out that the defense of innocent human life is not a partisan issue. The ad includes pro-abortion "Catholic" public figures from both the Republican and Democrat parties.

"The Church's teachings on abortion are very clear," said Judie Brown, president of American Life League. "Simply stated, you can't be both Catholic and pro-abortion."

The ad includes many notable "Catholic" public figures such as California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, New York Gov. George Pataki, and Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry. The ad will be featured in The Washington Times (a special edition of the paper will be delivered to the area surrounding the Republican National Convention in New York) and several other national newspapers. ..

5. They must have put some thought into where to place the ad.
Indeed, it is a strange choice. Perhaps putting the ad in a right wing rag as apposed to a respectable outlet is tartgeting the enemy, so to speak.

4. IF THEY DEFEND INNOCENT HUMAN LIFE...
Why are they defending the killing of Iraqi children and our soldiers? Jesus Christo, what a bunch of hypocrites.

7. The Catholic Church was against the Iraq War. God knows they've
got their problems, but on that one, they are consistent.

The fundy Protestant churches are the ones that are pro-war, pro-death penalty, pro-tax cuts, ant-help for the poor, anti-abortion - they are the ones that are totally all over the map and inconsistent.

8. Oh really?
Did the RCC take out full page newspaper ads denouncing the war and any politicians who support it? Did the Pope issue an edict that anyone supporting the war cannot receive communion?

true things to bitch at the Catholic Church for that I don't think we need to make anything up.

"The Vatican renewed its opposition to war in Iraq on Wednesday, saying military action would only make matters worse and that a pre-emptive strike raised serious ethical and legal problems.

"It's unilateralism, pure and simple," the Vatican's UN observer, Archbishop Renato Martino, said in comments published in the Italian newsweekly Famiglia Christiana.

The principle of a "first strike" as well as its possible use in Iraq "provoke profound reservations be it from the ethical or legal point of view," he said.

He recalled the Vatican's opposition to the 1991 Gulf War, saying: "Everyone knows the way it turned out. War doesn't resolve problems. Besides being bloody, it's useless," he said."'

Plus it is the American Life League Crusade blah, blah, blah coalition of some sort that has taken out the ad, not the RCC

9. Pro Choice does not equal Pro-Abortion
I guess that is confusing to most.
