I'm a committeeperson here in Philly, which makes me an official poll worker. Poll workers, judges of elections,etc., run for office every four years in the primary... if we lose, we're out immediately, before the general election, and the winner takes over. I'm sure it could be different in Florida, but it doesn't make much sense.

I admit I don't follow Florida politics that much, but I looked at the statistics of numbers of voters for US Senate and it seems to me that twice as many Dem voters came out. Is this an early indicator of the numbers of Dems that may come out (vs. Repugs) in November?

23. The results show that Lepore

DID get many Democratic votes, because Palm Beach County is a majority Democratic county. I can understand, in a way, because she is not an unlikeable person and she has lots of experience. She has worked many years in the supervisor of elections office before becoming supervisor. Her opponent, on the other hand, has no election experience, and has some financial problems in his past. That her opponent won says a lot though, doesn't it? Hopefully now, in future elections, we'll get the PRINTERS so we can at least do recounts.

LePore had the whole thing wired. She had everything rigged. She counted her own absentee votes and decided which absentee ballots got counted and which ones didn't. She did everything right! Something's wrong! There's some kind of fraud going on here!
