Judge to question Pinochet
Reuters in Santiago
Wednesday September 1, 2004
The Guardian

Snip:
A Chilean judge will question the former dictator Augusto Pinochet next week about his role in the murders of 19 people who opposed his rule, a high-level court source said yesterday.

The court-ordered questioning will be the first time the retired general, 88, has been forced to testify before a judge in a human rights case since the supreme court ruled in 2001 that he was mentally incompetent to stand trial in another case.

The country's highest court stripped Gen Pinochet of his immunity from prosecution last Thursday in a case involving the deaths of 19 Chileans in the mid-1970s as part of Operation Condor, a joint effort by South American dictatorships to wipe out dissidents.

Some 3,000 people were killed or disappeared during Gen Pinochet's 17-year rule, which ended in 1990.

1. Poor, poor Pinochet.
It was just a youthful indescretion. This applies to his American mentor, too, Henry Kissinger.

Visiting with Nixon on our dime.

All the "disappeared," the slaughtered, the broken hearted people don't matter. They were, after all, suspected to be "leftists."

2. Here's some of the background to the problem in the UK:
Edited on Wed Sep-01-04 08:17 AM by emad aisat sana

Sir Edward Heath, UK Tory Prime Minister 1970-74; former British officer in charge of East European refugee camps post-World War II
Supported George H Bush's policy of promoting Pinochet when Poppy was CIA head and later VP to Ronnie Raygun.

This is his SON Peter Heath, also widely known as "Tony Blair". His mother is an East European refugee and ex-P2 Lodge prostitute who was raped by Edward Heath while held in refugee internment camps in the UK from 1946-1949. She is still alive, lives in Buchinghamshire in the UK and spent a lifetime being protected from alleged war crimes prosecution by UK Tories who are pro-Republican and largely Catholic. Her career included working for the Henley on Thames based Marian Fathers who were prosecuted three times in the UK for child abuse, conspiracy to rape (along with several members of the UK's Hellfire Club) and money laundering for Pinochet, the IRA and Lech Walesa's Solidarity movement.

This is Dorothy Creasy, also widely known as Cherie Booth QC, wife of Blair. This whole mythology of her family background is pure Ted Heath era/Thatcher-era mis-information bankrolled by Poppy when he was CIA chief.

This is Peter Creasy, also widely known as Robert Maxwell (RIP), terrorist, thief. money launderer and great chum of Poppy who ensured his criminal records were wiped clean from CIA records and verified his Maxwell identity.

Margaret Thatcher, "Cherie Booth's" mother by "Robert Maxwell".

The classified UK files held by MI5 and MI6 on Pinochet atrocities hold this data that was part of a massive dis-informaiton campaign run by Poppy when he was CIA head and which has been responsible for the perversion of what has always been known as the "Special Relationship" between the UK and US.
