(This is the first time I've had the power of pulling news from the future...check out the time-stamp on this article. ;-) I guess the people who booked this for Bush know NOTHING about the background of this play or the man (John Waters) who created it.)

First Couple to attend 'Hairspray'

The cast of Broadway's Hairspray has been told to prepare for a visit from President Bush and his wife, despite the play's un-GOP slant.

Besides steamy interracial sex, there's a big old drag queen named Edna Turnblad who says, at one point, Manipulating the judicial system just to win a contest is un-American, the New York Post reported Wednesday.

But the performance's not-so sly dig at the litigation behind Bush's election has not, apparently, dimmed the interest of the first couple, who booked their own tickets to Wednesday's matinee several weeks ago.

I have a feeling this trip will be a BIG mistake. The Bushies are supposed to visit backstage. Do you really think the cast and crew are going to give them an easy time on their own turf? Oh, we may never hear about it, but I'm sure something will get said to Bush.

8. It just struck me again

how the entire gay hate crusade is encouraged by these asswipes much as segregation was openly practiced in the 50's & 60's. In addition to adapting virtually the same slogans, catch phrases (would you want THEM living next door - teaching YOUR children) conjouring up the same bad boogey man (recruiting your children 2 their agenda), these privileged, white folk will slum it 4 a night or 2 and allow THEM 2 entertain their fat white asses so they can then point 2 this exercise as a display of their tolerance.

I was raised surrounded by this hypocrisy. I knew it was wrong even tho I was too young 2 understand the name 4 it.

But...it was originally reported in the New York Post. They're wrong as many times as they're right...but they're also the type of people who DO have insiders in the Bush camp, so maybe....

Is it true or not? I don't know. But it's best to occasionally post stories about futuure events that are supposed to happen even when the event might not actually happen. That way you can keep your ears and eyes out for more info.

13. All right; so is Marissa Winokur the daughter of Pug Winokur's?

I've wondered that for awhile now, and a quick googling doesn't tell me. For those of you who don't know Pug Winokur, he's a truly evil henchman of paramilitary power. Not only was he part of Enron--he even testified during the brief attempt to shed some light on them--he's part of Dyncorp, which is an organization specializing in killing people who get in the way of Corporate Imperialism in places like Central America.

This seems just a little too coincidental for me...
