Vice President Dick Cheney will appear at a Bush-Cheney rally at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Pendleton Convention Center, 1601 Westgate, according to a news release.

The event is open to the public but is ticketed for ``logistical reasons,' said Tucker Bounds, Oregon communications director for Bush-Cheney '04. Bounds said Cheney is expected to talk about ``the direction of the country' and ``rural and Western issues.' ..
