New York AG: Cheney should give answers
Interactive Investor Trading Limited

Eliot Spitzer, New York's hard-driving attorney general, said Wednesday he wants Richard Cheney to respond to questions on his ties to Halliburton. "I think the vice president owes us a simple answer: what he knew and when he knew it," said Spitzer, who was speaking at press conference Wednesday for the Democratic National Committee. Just blocks from the Republican National Convention, which is being held at New York's Madison Square Garden, Democrats gathered to respond to Cheney's speech slated for later Wednesday. The democrats - including Spitzer, DNC Chairman Terry McAuliffe, Iowa Governor Tom Vilsack, Congressman Bob Menendez (D-N.J.) and Sen. Frank Lautenberg (D-N.J.) -- attempted to push Cheney's ties to Halliburton, the Houston-based provider of oil field services, to the forefront Wednesday. Cheney, as vice president, has received nearly $2 million in deferred compensation from the company he once headed and still holds 433,000 shares in Halliburton options, the Democrats said. ..

9. saw this on C Span
along with the Democratic Rep and Senator from NJ. They were great. Their point was that the Convention was avoiding the real issues and ignoring serious discussion of them. Things are great and getting better and if you don't think so then you are a "girlie man". Absolutely juvenile and disingenuous.

In fact, I would HOPE he'd make sure Asskrack got put behind bars where he belongs!

O8)In fact, if ANYONE can convict the entire bush crime family, it's probably Eliot Spitzer. I hope Kerry chooses him for Atty. General. O8)
