President's nephew says he won't seek political office just yet
NEW YORK - He's no longer one of the most eligible bachelors in the country and George P. Bush says he's also not interested in seeking political office. For now.

President Bush's dapper Latino nephew, who lives in Dallas and works at a law firm there, is expected to help his uncle's campaign attract Latinos and young people over the next two months.

(snip)

He was recently married amid speculation about whether he would soon be following in the footsteps of his grandfather, the first President Bush, and his uncle and father.

He said in an interview Tuesday that for now, he will take his father's advice and concentrate on his personal and professional life before seeking an elected role, if at all. "I'm still 28 years old, and I just got married," he said. "My focus right now is to be a good husband and hopefully raise a few kids.

(snip)

"It's easy to show up as a Bush and just run for office," he said. "But it's another thing to have something that people can point at and say, 'He did something tangible and something real for folks.' "

4. He's better hurry, because I see an ammendment to the Constitution
Barring FOREVER, any seed of Prescott Bush or George Herbert Walker from seeking or holding public office.

16. Finally!!! Someone else pushing for the same amendment.
But the only way to make sure they never ever hold any public office would be to sterilize them.

7. Got some dish from a Rice Grad...
1. Apparently he drank his way through Rice.

2. Beat his girlfriend. Also, if I'm not mistaken, he drove his car through the front of her (or a girlfriend's) Miami home.

3. He's a nitwit who basically had to be babied through UT law school.

These are, of course, just rumors.

22. Yes, one of the "little brown ones."
Kind of makes you feel all warm and fuzzy when grandparents make a public issue of a grandchild's ethnicity in a demeaning way. I'm waiting for "Gamie" Barbara to refer to the twins as the "big, slutty ones."

Indeed I was surprised that the GOP would be dumb enough to put the pervert before the idiots at the convention.

Whoa, they better get some handlers on him soon, before he develops a proto-sense of responsibility. Can't have that in our Bushies.

Or, maybe they already have and they carefully taught him this line.

Of course, it could backfire if anyone every thinks "something tangible...just like W"

Oy
