3 Macedonians Held Hostage in Baghdad
Novinite Ltd.

raqi militants have taken three Macedonians hostage and require ransom for their release, Reality Macedonia reports.

The hostages have been identified as Dalibor Lazarevski, Dragan Markovikj and Zoran Naskovski, all from Kumanovo. The captives, alongside 40 other construction workers from Macedonia, worked in Baghdad for the American company Soufan Engineering.

According to the reports the Macedonians were seized August 23, 2004, but information leaked only yesterday, as the other workers were told to keep silent in order not to disturb the families of the kidnapped. ..

The sum of the demanded ransom was not immediately known.

1. I feel sorry for people who HAVE to go to Iraq to work.
Yes I know they don't HAVE to, but they choose to to support their families. It is so sad. What a sick world we live in.
