Democrats Weren't Negative in Boston, Says Bush Critic (Gov Vilsack)
New York (CNSNews.com)

Iowa Gov. Tom Vilsack, who was designated by the Democratic Party to lead the attack on President Bush this week, claimed Thursday that Democrats didn't turn negative at their party's convention in July. ..

What they've done to John Kerry is basically spread deception and untruths about him as person," Vilsack added. "There's a fundamental difference." ..

"I feel bad for many parents who had to have their children walk away from the television with all the anger and venom that they spewed out last night," McAuliffe said of the speeches by Miller and Vice President Cheney. ..

1. Yes, the children are so confused with a scary white fat man behind
a lectern with a CROSS on it spewing words of hate! Hell, I'm an adult and it confuses me! I still don't know why so much anger from this party, they are so rich, so powerful, so absolved of any responsibility, what the hell are they mad about?

2. Plus they had control of the WH
Congress and the Supreme Court, you would they would be jumping for joy? Instead, we've had four years of nothing but disasters, that they want to blame on everyone else.

3. They are an anger that is looking for something to be angry about
They cannot yet fathom they are the ones mostly responsible. Give them time and the appropriate distance. This could end up being quite a spectacle to be observed. Engagement on their terms is not an option. I am so proud of our side, everybody has mostly done such a great job with all the resources at our disposal.

I feel something is changing, another guy at my work has just figured out how racist some of his family was. It took the passing away of a couple of them before he had the conversation that turned into a heated debate against him by some his other family members. Me and him were at odds before that, but now we understand each other better. Being Friends is much better than being enemies.

backlash against their theft and treason. They know full well that they will be facing criminal charges when the Democrats do real investigations of 9-11, Halliburton, Abu Graib, Enron, the Plaim leak, the Franklin affair, Riggs Bank, etc, etc, etc. They will be fighting like hell for their freedom, their fortunes, and their future. They have proved that they are willing to stoop to any depth to win and that they consider themselves above all laws, all moral principles, and all concepts of truth. We are in for the most vicious campaign we have ever seen. As the old slogan goes, "The closer we get to winning, the harder they will fight." They are scared of the power of the people and they are fighting back like cornered rats. :grouphug: The people united will never be defeated! and they know it better than we do!

5. They are fighting for a higher cause
Eliminate all taxes for the wealthy, end all social programs, beef up military contracts to halliburton. This is the beginning of the fight of their lives.

6. When has "going negative" been a bad thing with voters?
The Republican control every branch of government and still Democrats have a fantasy that voters don't like negative campaigns.

When will our side wake the fuck up?

8. Republicans run on hatred, because all their policy solutions are losers.
Fear and hatred is all that remains.
