Media Covered Heinz Kerry 'Shove It' Comment on 187 More Occasions than Bush 'Can't Win the War on Terror' Comment

While reporters obsessed for days over Teresa Heinz Kerry's relatively insignificant request that a right-wing reporter "shove it," they've devoting much less coverage to George W. Bush's stunning flip-flop on one of the most important issues facing America today -- whether or not we can win the war on terror.

On Sept. 1, Salon.com senior writer Eric Boehlert wrote: "The Bush machine is running one of the dirtiest -- and most effective -- campaigns in modern history" and noted that the "compliant media" has adopted a "double standard" when it comes to President George W. Bush versus Senator John Kerry. ..

3. It should be their duty to concerned Americans to report the remark
It is astounding they did not, and clearly a sign of the influence the GOP has in the media.

5. The TV talking heads remain our enemy
They are mindless buffoons who will recite whatever soundbite they hear the most, which is why Kerry and the Democratic Party have to keep pounding away on Shrub's flip-flop after the convention of evil-doers is adjourned tonight.

6. The corporate media is like a megaphone.

The liberals get to talk into the big end and the conservatives get to talk into the little end. Thus, Jonathon Swift's parable of Lilliput comes true. The Democrats are the big-endians and the Republicans are the little-endians.

7. After Kerry is elected I'm going to work my ass off to make it public
media.

They have abused a privilege that they never had in the first place, and that is to control the public media. Their RW republican bias prejudice is now so apparent that even many republicans are realizing that there is no such thing as a liberal media.

They are going to lose the privilege to own media, and I'm going to work until my dying day to see that they lose it. I think there a few or so million others like me that realize just how great an enemy of democracy and the US that RW corporate media has become, so I'm not going to be alone in this fight.

The media, and the ballot box, are going to be placed back into the hands of the People.
