Bush still leading 49% to 45% in Rasmussen ...;
Edited on Fri Sep-03-04 10:55 AM by annxburns
same as yesterday. They refer to it as a "modest" bounce. I also think they recently changed their polling method (just in time for the convention - suspicious.) And remember, this guy is a republican pollster.

I do think Bush will get a 5-8% bounce which will disappear almost immediately when Barnes gets out on 60 minutes and Kitty Kelley's book starts leaking to the press.

I also think Bush and Kerry will be within a few points of each other until after the debates, when Kerry will start to pull away.

2. If he doesn't get a 20% bounce, the convention was a miserable failure.
Everyone knows that sitting Presidents commonly get a 20% post-convention bounce. Unless he's imcompentant, he will too.

7. I think the white bread hatefest bombed like a fart in church.
Any bounce he gets will be a mercy bounce... from having his ugly mug all over tv for a week.

10. I'm telling you if he doesn't get above 54-55%
after his convention - then he is in real trouble.

13. electoral-vote.com said...
that polls released this monday will be the first that have been taken entirely after the convention. So that's when I will start to pay attention.
