US 'friendly fire' kills 4 in Iraq

In the Iraqi city of Fallujah, four Iraqis have been killed and six injured in what appears to have been a "friendly fire" incident.

Iraqi sources said the deaths and injuries happened after a United States tank opened fire on an Iraqi security force base in the residential district of Shuhuda. .snip.

Security was handed over to an Iraqi force, which has since largely disintegrated.

Now that the Republican convention is over, the dead soldiers can start being talked of again.

On edit - kind of misread this. They are only admitting to Iraqi troops so far. Give it time.
