HONOLULU -- Republican state Rep. Brian Blundell pleaded no contest Friday to a misdemeanor sex assault charge.

Police arrested Blundell in Kapiolani Park in July for allegedly groping the crotch of an undercover officer.

Blundell, 63, is a first-term lawmaker from Maui.

Blundell was arrested July 15 for reportedly groping an undercover police officer in a Kapiolani Park Restroom.

in fact, a Blundell sign appears along with other R signs in the window of the state repuke HQ, right where I can see it on my way home. :puke:

At least he won't be unopposed, like he was before this happened. Two Dems filed at the last minute and will be in a primary Sept. 18.
