Bush 49% Kerry 45%

For the second straight day, the Rasmussen Reports Presidential Tracking Poll shows President George W. Bush with 49% of the vote and Senator John Kerry with 45%.

Bush is enjoying a modest Convention bounce. Today marks the first time since March 19 that he has held a 4-point lead on consecutive days. The President's Job Approval is at its highest level since April and voters now view him a bit more favorably than John Kerry. More...

Starting to look like that Time/CNN poll was BOGUS!!

2. Because Iraq is off the news pages
Because people are not being exposed to the quagmire in Iraq, AWOLbush is doing a little better.. I expect Kerry to slam AWOLbush in the debates!!

4. Rove knows that some "undecided" voters
tend to want to vote for the perceived winner, so why not release a bogus poll showing * as a winner. That's why, on election night, showing the results from the eastern states tends to influence the vote in the western states, whose polls haven't closed yet.

5. of course CNN's poll was and still is bogus
CNN is bascially a "friendly" version of Pravda. There area number of PyschOps people from the DoD working there, and with someoone as paranoid and ego driven like the * moron, they'll do everyting to make him look good. Of course we here in DU already know their dirty tricks :evilgrin:
