Car bomb kills at least 20 at Iraq Academy

BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) - A suicide attacker detonated a car bomb outside the police academy in the northern Iraqi city of Kirkuk on Saturday as hundreds of trainees and civilians were leaving for the day, killing at least 20 people and wounding 36, authorities said.

I believe that the attacks are going to step up all over the place soon. Between Israel continuing on with the settlements thereby showing they have no intent on dealing with the Palestinians, the horrible attacks in the Russian school that garnered the attention of the world, the continual bombings in Iraq, the threats against Iran and Syria, the constant bloodthirsty screams for 'an eye for an eye' (that horrible old biblical dictum).

This may truly be the end because no one, absolutely no one, will stop and realize that (as my darling bus driver says every day) violence only begets violence. No one side is willing to admit that they can't have it all, that there has to be negotiation and compromise. All sides think that they have all the answers, and anyone who doesn't agree with them is not only wrong, but deserves to die for that belief.
