Marijuana Plants Found Outside Courthouse
GREEN BAY, Wis. Sept. 7, 2004 ? Sheriff's officers had marijuana growing right under their noses or at least right outside their headquarters before discovering and removing the illegal weed. .snip.

Chief Deputy John Gossage wasn't sure of the plants' identity, but a drug officer confirmed the presence of marijuana.

"Obviously, as a prank, somebody planted this or dropped some seeds into the plants," Gossage said.

The drug officer pulled the six small plants, which were to be destroyed.

"It's a good thing it was brought to our attention because someone may have realized what it was and could've taken it and used it," Gossage said.

3. i love the cop quote
"It's a good thing it was brought to our attention because someone may have realized what it was and could've taken it and used it," Gossage said.
OR ELSE WHAT?!
was his next line "if someone had gotten to it, local pizzas would have been threatened"?

7. dumbasses. it's a weed in the midwest
Edited on Tue Sep-07-04 11:38 PM by enki23
it grows all over the place. it's worthless for smoking, of course. i was told it was left over from a big push to grow hemp during World War I. though, perhaps it's just native, or invasive. i don't really know. but the term "ditch weed" exists for a reason.

8. There are about 10 little MJ plants growing all over
my townhouse complex, probably from teenagers throwing seeds away. The plants are so cute, but they're evil, right? Should I do the right thing and call the DEA? If I pick them myself I could be arrested for cultivation! :eyes:

9. You should test them before reporting them.
You know how busy the police are. Dry them, grind them up, and put them in a nice banana bread. If you have a very nice day, then you should turn yourself in for testing.

11. I wonder...
Do you suppose that the Courthouse, all the furnishings and assests of the court, were fortitied to the Court? Only fair, seeing out the assets of serfs- I mean citizens- can be forfit.

Would the Court have to post bond to itself to sue itself for redress? Maybe this could be used to tie up/log jam the Courts? <Big Evil Grin>
