1. Considering how right wing they are, this is a good sign.

4. Well, right wing for Britain as a business journal, which
means what would be moderate business, or moderate republican, if such a thing existed in the US anymore.

6. I find them to be pretty fair in general
I remember reading an article from them that was an analysis of bush's RNC speech. At first it seemed sympathetic with chimpy, then they went into what he didn't say, and were highly critical about the omissions. I disagree with their view of the Iraq war, but as a whole I find them to be excellent. Take a look at this opinion piece. I don't agree with everything they say, but it's good reading in any case.

7. I agree, and I also found moderate Republicans to be pretty fair,
in general. Miss them. As for the Econ., I once had a subscription, but it was actually too much reading. Pro business, conservative, but respectable.

9. The Economist is very good.
Basically they are not really right or left wing, just capitalists. They really strive for the truth and objectivity. That's why I subscribe.
