Vehicle Accident Claims Soldier; Crew Survives Helo Crash

A soldier was killed and several were injured in two separate Sept. 8 incidents in Iraq, Multinational Force Iraq officials reported.

One 1st Infantry Division soldier died and seven others were injured in a vehicle accident near Baqubah. Six of the injured soldiers were taken to a military treatment facility and were reported to be in stable condition. The seventh was treated and returned to duty.

Also on Sept. 8, the crew of a Multinational Force Iraq helicopter was evacuated when the aircraft crashed in Anbar province. All four personnel who were aboard are expected to fully recover, officials said. ..

how the fuck these people are surviving those things being shot down is a mystery to me..
