Two Explosions Echo Across Baghdad
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20040919/ap_on_re_mi_ea/iraq_blasts&cid=540&ncid=1480

BAGHDAD, Iraq - Two explosions echoed across the Iraqi capital Sunday. It was not immediately clear what caused the late afternoon blasts.

The U.S. military had no information.

.... that is it!

1. No information probably is bad news for the U.S.

It probably translates to a hit on an American position and loss of life for American military families.

Such is the state of our formerly free press.

4. It doesn't make me laugh.
It makes me angry. I keep wondering.

What happened to the country that I was born in and grew up in?
Are we really that frightened or is it a fear that our Washington politicians, news media, and "the elite society" feels?

6. Figuring give or six explosions a day, how much of that place can there
be left? Allawi and our unelected fraud don't even control Baghdad, so how in the hell do they expect people to swallow the fantasy that things are going so damn well over there?

These goons wouldn't even make good reading in a bad novel. No one would believe it. Unfortunately, they're for real.
