Same-sex marriage ban approved in Louisiana

NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana (AP) -- Louisiana voters overwhelmingly approved a state constitutional amendment Saturday banning same-sex marriages and civil unions, one of up to 12 such measures on the ballot around the country this year.

My comments: Why don't Democrats challenge the Religious Right and put on the ballot, "Should the Separation of Church and State be kept?" I bet you and overwhelming majority of Americans would vote NO!

2. my problem with supporting dems fighting against these dumb rules

is the people it will affect the most don't have the time, or the interest to vote against them. example log cabin repugs, what the hell is that, what is their motto: "my money is more important then my life"
