Edwards Plans Pennsylvania Stops
Edwards Plans Pennsylvania Stops

Sep 19, 2004 9:20 am US/Eastern
PHILADELPHIA (AP) Democratic vice presidential candidate John Edwards is making a string of campaign appearances Sunday across Pennsylvania.

Starting with a stop this morning at Bright Hope Baptist Church in Philadelphia, Edwards also will participate in a rally early Sunday afternoon in Phoenixville, and visit a rally this evening at the Cambria County War Memorial Arena in Johnstown.

Edwards will then be traveling to Ohio.

(I also posted this in G.D. Campaign, but I thought if it appeared here, too, more people might be able to see where he's going to be this afternoon and evening, in case there's a chance of attending.(Watch out for men carring young daughters on their shoulders, holding signs!))

5. Good to hear you & your wife will get a chance to see J.E.
I'll bet you'll really be glad you went.

Yeah, Republicans ARE low. You NEVER hear of Democrats involved in low acts like like Watergate, like breaking into the office of Daniel Elsburg's psychiatrist, when he was on Nixon's enemy list, like Donald Segretti's plan to hire cheesy women to seduce Democratic politicians, all the way back in the 1960's, in hope of compromising them, and getting them bumped off, politically. Fairly recently we had the assistant to a Republican Congressman who rummaged around in Democrats' e-mails, and shared them with his boss, etc.

It just goes on and on. What DOESN'T go on and on is a history of Democrats behaving like this. You'd think they'd have the decency to feel shame from time to time.

Just remembered Swifties, and also Bush's character attacks on John McCain, a Republican who got in his way. It seems the list is endless.

3. Here's a link to read. Real food for thought.
Don't know exactly when the first story was posted at D.U. concerning a Republican real estate agent, Phil Parlock, who attended a rally, bringing a couple of his kids, and Bush-Cheney signs, and engineered a "situation" which appeared to reveal Democrats stooping so low they'd snatch a Bush-Cheney sign right from his tiny daughter's hands, leaving her terrified and in tears.

Some GREAT investigation at D.U. uncovered the fact he has manufactured similar events, in 1996, and 2000 at other Democratic rallies.

Here's a good one, and there are more in General Discussion: Campaign 2004:

You'll find it fascinating, perhaps, reading the revelation there's a dirty tricks specialist in West Virginia who will even drag a very young daughter into the mix for special effects, to plant a completely illusory image, maybe to counter the REAL image Democrats have of a Republican kicking a female Democratic protestor when she was downed at the Republican convention.

6. The Johnstown War Memorial!
It's close to the time that hockey usually starts. I wonder when or if the Chiefs will show up for training camp.

"Old-time hockey, coach! Eddie Shore!"

What a great place for a rally in September. Too bad JK isn't showing up for a charity hockey game.
