World leaders react to Bush U-N speech
UNITED NATIONS President Bush didn't get much reaction from world leaders -- either during or after his speech to the U-N General Assembly. In the speech, he defended the U-S invasion of Iraq.
Bush's comments were met with polite applause after they were over.

Spain's prime minister was among the few reacting to Bush's talk. Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero (zah-pah-TEH'-roh) said he agreed with the president's take on defending liberty and democracy, saying fighting terror is a part of all nations' shared goals.

But Zapatero said he disagreed on other issues -- though he wouldn't elaborate. He did say earlier that Spain wouldn't provide troops to the U-S-led force in Iraq.

1. Sounds like they were so disgusted they couldn't be bothered to respond
Kind of like my reaction to a freeper who "rebutted" the points in my letter to the editor published a few days ago. His response was so mind-bogglingly illogical I'm not sure where to start in my response.

4. they probably sat there thinking, 'this is THEE last time I'll have to
sit here and listen to this clown! Thank God, he'll be gone after November.'

How can ANYONE take bush seriously? Most of those world leaders, attending out of protocol, would much rather boycott anything having to do with AWOL.

6. I read the transcript of his speech
Just more simplistic declarations and self-serving BS.
