Kerry resumes Colorado advertising

By Liz Sidoti
The Associated Press

Greg Archuletta, a Victory 2004 Kerry-Edwards-Salazar
staff member, carries a Kerry-Edwards campaign sign as he
helps to set up a satellite campaign office in west Denver
on Monday.

Washington - John Kerry's campaign is going back on the air in
Colorado this week with a moderate level of television advertising,
two weeks earlier than it had planned.

Kerry's campaign hasn't advertised in Colorado since July.

The shift comes as polls show the presidential race tightening in
Colorado, which traditionally leans toward the GOP.

The Massachusetts senator campaigned in Aurora last Friday.

2. I agree
Bush's bounce is gone, and now this is showing up in state polls. Kerry will probably get every Gore state as well as New Hampshire, and will probably pick up at least a few of the following: Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, Missouri, Arkansas, Tennessee, Florida, North Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia.

5. I think that Colorado and Arkansas are states
that Kerry needs to work to win. Regardless of what happened in 2000 those states are in play. I can't say why for certain, but they are. That's politics, sometimes states turn over. I hope they will increase advertizing in CO and start advertizing in Arkansas. We have a better shot in those states then we do in Ohio.

8. I agree
And not just CO, and AR, but NV, MO, TN, NC, VA, WV, OH, and FL.

Kerry seems to be holding his own in every Gore state (although many by slim margins), and is within striking distance in all of the above listed.

9. 23 year Colorado resident, certified Bush hater
and I gotta tell ya, no way.

Salazar has a shot, but Kerry doesn't.

I'll happily eat my words if I'm wrong.
