TASK FORCE OLYMPIA SOLDIER DIES FROM INJURIES FOLLOWING ATTACK

MOSUL, Iraq -- A Task Force Olympia Soldier died on Sept. 22 from injuries following an earlier attack on a Multinational Forces patrol in Mosul.

The Soldier was evacuated to a military hospital in Mosul where the Soldier later died of wounds. No other injuries were reported in the attack.

The name of the Soldier is being withheld pending next of kin notification.
