John Kerry and George W. Bush remain tied among all voters nationwide, with Kerry at 48% and Bush at 45%. With Ralph Nader on the ballot, Kerry is at 46%, Bush is at 45%, and Nader is at 3%. Among likely voters, Bush is at 48% and Kerry is at 47% in a two-way ballot and Bush and Kerry are tied at 47% each, with Nader at 3%, in a three-way ballot.

Edited on Thu Sep-16-04 02:57 PM by berner59
If Bush was up, the headline would be "Bush surging ahead!!!"

This is VERY good news though...we can figure that one out...

18. It's within the margin of error..
..so, technically, the vote is a tie. One of those odd statistical thigamajiggers.

4. Judy Woofwoof
is trying to beat the shit outa Kerry...

Imagine that Kerry has the temerity to run for president and make speeches. We won't cover those speeches of course because it would be unAmerican.

They're showing him speaking Live but talking over his words. Insane!!

8. The Saudi prince
who owns Time Warner and therefore CNN is known to make calls to the organizations he controls to give "guidance" on various subjects.

I think this is one of the main reasons CNN is no longer objective along with the fact that the network believes it must imitate Faux to cut into the latter's viewership.

17. Is CNN really owned by a Saudi prince?
Can anyone give some documentation? I would love to throw this fact in the faces of my co-workers who gleefully quote CNN or FAUX all day.

3. Yes!
God, today is getting nicer and nicer as far as polls go. Now we have at least two polls showing Kerry up on Bush, and the best that Bush can manage at the height of his bounce is a margin-of-error "lead" on Kerry in the key states.

I'm feeling quite good right now.. just wait until F9/11 and the debates, lol!

5. Hey, doncha know the "lingo"
when its 48% Kerry and 45% smirk, then its "tied"

10. Don't get to excited about NJ/NY
Once they see Dumbya in a debate, they'll be reminded why they didn't vote for him in 2000. We tend to have higher education levels out here, no offense to my Southern brothers and sisters out there. However, we must remain vigilant and get out the vote this year!

If anectdotal evidence makes you feel better, I drive the Garden State Parkway and NJ Turnpike, Holland Tunnel and West Side Highway regularly.

Kerry bumper stickers outnumber El Idioto's by at least 2:1.

14. RNC bounce, just like in some of the national polls
Stste polls are a lagging indicator, so it may not be till next week that Kerry starts doing better. It'll happen. :)

16. So only Nader has gained
Edited on Thu Sep-16-04 04:05 PM by PATRICK
exponentially since last time, doubling and increasing his support? Bush has stayed much the same despite disaffecting chunks of his own party and smiting bipartisanship hip and thigh? Besides ruining his popularity springboard except for a hollow sloganeering? The deficits, the endless war and promise of more, the draft?

Hurray for the media. Only they could manufacture this insane topsy turvy world turned "Right" side up again in America alone.
