LAFAYETTE -- Burned campaign signs and apparent pro-President Bush messages scrawled in a tarry black substance greeted volunteers Thursday morning at Lafayette's presidential campaign headquarters for U.S. Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass.

Lafayette city police are investigating the apparent vandalism, which did not damage the Buchanan Street building other than scorch marks on the pavement in front of the building, but also involved the theft of campaign signs outside the building

I'm not surprised at this.

I thought a long time ago that the retoric used by a lot of the freepers was similar to skinheads and nazis.

If you actually take the time to listen to the spew and rantings of the white supremists, and alike, when it comes to so called religious and "moral" values being legislated they're in the same boat.

When you rule with hate, fear, deception, and half-truths, this is the kind of thing that will eventually surface.

23. I wish some enterprising media person

would do a story on all these Bush Brownshirts. I hear constantly of lawn signs being stolen. This is the second Dem quarters being trashed, etc. These people are bullies and thier inability to follow the law and respect other people's rights directly reflects their leadership. I think it would make an excelent story and there is a ton of material.
