Shindigs for Daddy: Twins
DE PERE, Wis. - The party-hardy Bush twins made their campaign trail debut in De Pere, Wisconsin yesterday by urging college students to throw political shindigs for their dad.

"We just finished college and we know students are busy: a little bit of schoolwork and a lot of fun," Barbara Bush told young Republicans at St. Norbert College.

"So if you guys can all put your party planning skills to good work, you could throw one for the President. It's fun when you get your friends involved!"

(snip)

In De Pere, four protesters stood about three blocks away holding a "Draft Jenna" sign.

Besides St. Norbert, the twins also spoke at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh campus and Marquette University in Milwaukee.

7. They're going to Michigan State for a rally this week
I really don't like to trash the twins, but MSU is a huge party school. Some of the best parties I ever went to were there, and I went to WMU in the 80s, which had it's own reputation as a party school.

9. It's telling that after the shameful appearance at the RNC that daddy
immediately ordered NO more photos to be taken of the twins. I don't find that strange--it is not to protect them, I suspect it is to hide them. If they are actively campaigning there is no reason whatsoever they should not be photographed in all their bordello finery.

13. Keggers for Bush!
"I liked how they talked about college. And when Jenna lost her place and had to start over? It shows they're real, not rehearsed, you know?" said Tara Krey, 19, a sophomore.

Um no, you dumbass, that means they just rehearsed badly!

14. What's this mean?
""I liked how they talked about college. And when Jenna lost her place and had to start over? It shows they're real, not rehearsed, you know?" said Tara Krey, 19, a sophomore."

Is this person being sarcastic? Does she mean they had to start their speech over? Not rehearsed? WTF?

15. More evidence that you can lead a student to a book
but you can't make them read.

:puke:

Jennifer Kamuda, a UWO sophomore from Menasha, said what they had to say and getting the chance to meet them was “awesome.”

“It was very inspirational and I wish more students had been able to hear what they had to say,” Kamuda said. “I just love how they pulled together with their family throughout this campaign.”

http://www.wisinfo.com/northwestern/news/local/stories/local_17810386.shtml

She was right on one point, I wish more people had the opportunity to see them too. I would have liked to ask, "Do you like to do cocaine with your father, or is that sort of wierd?"

18. More blatant lies - look what they had the students doing!
In all three events, the students spent the time waiting for the twins' arrival calling hunters on cell phones distributed by campaign staff. They read from scripts saying that Democrat John Kerry "has voted to lock hunters, snowmobiles and ATVs out of public lands" - a big issue in the snowmobile-crazed Badger State - and that Bush has invested billions of dollars in wildlife habitats.

Grrrrrrr.

29. I would ask those two twits why should I hold a shindig for a POS...
war criminal.

Little twirps would probably stick their tongues out and abscond back to the hideout.

Protestors were three blocks away? Free speech zones for these two twits?
