Judge Orders U.S. to Find Bush Records
http://tinyurl.com/6e8vp

WASHINGTON (AP) - A federal judge has ordered the Pentagon to find and make public by next week any unreleased files about President Bush's Vietnam-era Air National Guard service to resolve a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit filed by The Associated Press.

U.S. District Judge Harold Baer Jr. handed down the order late Wednesday in New York. The AP lawsuit already has led to the disclosure of previously unreleased flight logs from Bush's days piloting F-102A fighters and other jets.

Pentagon officials told Baer they plan to have their search complete by Monday. Baer ordered the Pentagon to hand over the records to the AP by Sept. 24 and provide a written statement by Sept. 29 detailing the search for more records.

2. Gee, I wonder how long it'll be until we hear "Separation of Powers"
This cabal has almost totally ignored the Judiciary, even though it's under Republican/conservative control.

8. Good point...
Maybe that's why there's a different poll question now.

15. How weird...I've got the US version, but
The poll question (and result of the poll) is:
Who do you believe more on President Bush's National Guard records?

CBS News 66% 13480 votes

President Bush 34% 6999 votes
Total: 20479 votes

5. I am not sure how to vote
On one hand, an investigation would surely bring to light the unanswered questions about Bush's service:
- Why did Bush lose his wings?
- Why did Bush fail to show up for the medical exam?
- Why was Bush allowed to skip out on his last year of service?

But on the other hand, it's a distraction from the real issue: "How did Bush's avoidance of duty in Vietnam weigh on his rush to war in Iraq?"

9. Doesn't record my vote in neither Safari browser nor Explorer,
whether cookies are on or off. I tried the same poll, five minutes after it was announced on cnn.com/360, but it won't record my vote. CNN website has NEVER allowed me to vote on any polls. Ever.

10. Doesn't look good for B*
Who do you believe more on President B*'s National Guard records?

CBS - 69%
President B* - 31%

(counting Tangledog)

I don't think DUers are that good at defreeping CNN polls. I think the President is feeling a lifetime of lies crawling up his colon!

11. But the big question is:
Does the voting public care whether or not their president is a liar?

I sure hope they do...

17. CBS 64% to * 46%.
But it's really a stupid poll: Bush doesn't really ever discuss his records (does he?), and the Whitew House has never questioned the authenticity of the CBS documents.

18. At 11:20 P.M. CST after I voted
CNN's poll is now,

CBS - 62% 42404 votes
Bush* - 38% 25507 votes
Total - 100% 67911 votes

So, it looks like the poll could use some more DUing.

12. We've fallen for the rovian pit.
Those 30% (27-33?) hardcore born-agains will not change their mind about their 'adored one' no matter what his sins or lousy character.

Logical, more magnanimous people will make up their mind on the big five -

War containment
Future for them, their children, their house, their families, and everybody's job assuarance and benefits.
Economy-debt
Security
Environment plus ability to buy their car of choice and drive at will. plus choice of non-toxic materials and air and warming containment.

Kitty Kelly, CBS records, Vietnam won't help them decide because they already know Bush is an embarassment, but they may still believe in the party. So shouldn't we be concentrating on the five?

The gossip level can pull everyone down.
