The USS Constitution will be one of the stars in a History Channel documentary Sunday night about
America's first victory over terrorists nearly 200 years ago on the shores of North Africa.
The world's oldest commissioned warship, which was on active duty in the Mediterranean Sea during the 1805 war against the Barbary pirates, appears in several scenes for ``The Battle of Tripoli,'' which airs at 8 p.m. Sunday.

The documentary, which was also shot on location in Morocco, chronicles the incredible story of William Eaton, who with just eight U.S. Marines and 500 Arab mercenaries, marched 600 miles across the Libyan desert and captured Derne, an important Tripolitan port within marching distance of the capital.
When Marine Lt. Presley O'Bannon raised the American flag over Derne, it marked the first time in the nation's young history that America captured foreign territory in an overseas war.
Be affraid people! They are re-writing history.
