BAGHDAD, Sept 14 (Reuters) - Gunmen opened fire on a U.S. army patrol near the northern Iraqi city of Mosul on Tuesday, killing one soldier and wounding five, the U.S. military said.

BAGHDAD, Iraq – Two Task Force Baghdad Soldiers were killed and three others were wounded when the Soldiers were attacked with an improvised explosive device and small-arms fire at approximately 4:30 p.m. The wounded Soldiers were evacuated to a medical facility.
