"Uncovered, THE WHOLE TRUTH OF THE IRAQ WAR . . .
Is just now coming on Sundance Channel. If you have satellite with dish network or direct tv, this looks like a pretty good show. They are showing and talking to the experts right now.

It is 12:30 a.m. EST on direct TV Channel #549.

Everything Bush said and how he was wrong.

1. It is definitely worth watching
I saw it on Sundance last weekend and ordered Uncovered, along with "Outfoxed" and "Unprecedented", from Amazon the next day!

2. Sundance is starting to make me wish I had DirecTV...
... and a wad more money to pay for it.

3. It's not too bad if you just get the basic channels. I think
Sundance is included in the top 150 which would run around $30 a month. Of course, if you are like me, $30 could buy our groceries for a week (well, almost). But $30 will not even fill up my husband's truck. (ridiculous).

4. The whole truth and everything that shrubby did wrong?
They couldn't cover that in a ten-week mini-series.

It sounds like this might be a good start, though. Just the high points!

7. If you can't afford the cable
Buy the DVDs. If you can't afford the DVDs, get somebody to show it locally. Put in the request for screenings to your local progressive groups, film societies, universities, libraries, etc. I got a local film group to show Unprecedented here at the art museum in Reno. If they can't do it, do it yourself. You could have seen a number of these films for free by signing up for various moveon parties. If you send out a couple of e-mails, many of the directors of these films will call you to help you get a screening going.

Anyone living in Reno should go see Unprecedented at the museum on Thursday Sept. 30th. Tickets are $6 at the door, $4 for Cinemareno members. If you can't afford it, e-mail me and I'll try to help you out. If you bring undecided voters I'll buy them a ticket.

10. Some better shows....
Earlier this year PBS's Frontline had two documentaries on the Iraq war that were much better than Uncovered. I wish I had them still. (I loaned them to two friends and they haven't been returned yet).

Also, the Atlantic magazine has had some wonderful articles. Some of the best in-depth articles anywhere. You can get them from their website. The best primers on the Iraq War...
