1. What a maroon !!!
http://www.chinadaily.com.cn/english/doc/2004-09/27/content_377977.htm

"My hope is that we can solve this diplomatically," Bush said in a three-part interview with Fox News Channel's "O'Reilly Factor" program, excerpts of which were made public on Sunday.

Ok. So the nation that refers to America as the "GREAT SATAN" gets diplomatic channels to prevent them from developing nukes which we know is extremely possible.

But the nation that threatened Bush's daddy, yet had no nukes we can invade. AYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE !!!!!!!!

I'm glad Saddam Hussein is in US custody. I'm even more glad that Quasay and Oday (especially this sicko) are dead. But honestly they could have waited.

Freedom isn't free, but Osama Bin Laden still is.

2. Basically, because of Iraq, we've said "you've gotta get nukes".
Not directly, of course. But for leaders of other nations which we might not be on a level with, this is the lesson we've taught them: if you don't have nukes, we'll invade; if you do, we'll talk. Now that's fucked up, and unfortunately may cause a lot of nuclear proliferation in other countries that we really don't need right now. This likewise sets us back in the war on terror and is a huge blunder on W's part.

4. means nothing
He said he wanted to solve Iraq diplomatically as well. He did. Once we found out Iraq had no WMD, then we invaded.

8. Hmm... a pre-emtive declaration of war.
I've read: "we will not tolerate the construction of a nuclear weapon in Iran" in many articles.

10. The ability of oil state to defend itself not tolerable
Edited on Mon Sep-27-04 06:13 AM by teryang
...to the predatory energy cabal in power. Their goal is the repatriation of their proprietary interest in middle eastern/Iranian oil "stolen" from them. This is really the modus operandi of American policy.

15. By George, I think you've got it!
I love your apt term, "predatory energy cabal." And at the same time they're directing our foreign policy, their lobbyists are preventing much needed research into alternate energy sources.

Oil economy = :nuke:

12. He better hurry up then.
If he wants to stop the Iranians or anyone else from getting nukes ne needs to ramp up the PNAC plan about 5000%. It's almost too late at this point. What's next? We might have to start treating other countries as peers and not subjects? Those are our options at this point. Either take over the rest of the world quick or start making friends.

I can't see Bush making any friends, can anyone else?
