Wilder for Mayor
http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20040926/ap_on_el_st_lo/wilder_s_return

Should be interesting to see how Wilder does. This time a year ago he was being called a sell-out by some by pushing for taking away voting power away from the few and giving it to the many. Hope he wins, and hope no one else calls him a sell-out. Still wish Kerry would have at least had him on the VP short-list. I definitely like Edwards, but Wilder is the VP I wanted.

1. I hadn't heard he was running.
I remember meeting him when he was running on the ticket with Jerry Balisle (sp?) ... both were centrist/left. Compared to todays centrists they were both liberal (all things relative.) Good luck to him!

2. I hope he wins, too...
Like you, I'd like to see him involved in the national scene; but Richmond needs a miracle worker like Wilder now.
